Urban demolition generates massive construction waste; without proper disposal, cities risk being encircled by garbage. Recently, Shijiazhuang’s first “Construction Waste Resource Recycling Production Line” was commissioned, turning waste into resources. On site, mixed construction waste is misted, moistened, and dust-suppressed, then fed into a hopper and screened to separate soil, light materials, and debris. After further sorting and manual picking to remove soil, light fractions, and household trash, the waste is crushed to produce lightweight aggregates for subsequent production. Part of it goes to Honcha’s U18-15 pallet-free fully automatic line to remanufacture various building materials. The permeable bricks produced feature high strength, excellent permeability, and water storage up to 30% of brick volume.
