The Path to Success, Made by Honcha

Slag Brickmaking Leads the Trend

Traditionally, concrete product mix designs treat clay content as a taboo. Theoretically, when clay exceeds 3%, product strength drops sharply as clay increases. In handling construction waste and various solid wastes, the most difficult to treat is muck (earth). With stricter environmental controls on sand and gravel mining, prices keep soaring. While most recycled aggregates can be sold at good prices, the remaining muck is typically only used for backfilling or roadbeds.

Honcha's slag brick machine delivers up to 360 kN of impact vibration with differentiated multi-source synchronous vibration. With about 8% moisture content, the muck mix still bleeds at the surface after forming; the concrete is fully fluidized and deaerated, achieving very high density.

Honcha's Yiwu project first discovered that bricks can be made entirely from muck. When trialing antique-style blue bricks, 100% muck without coarse aggregates achieved good forming and minimal strength loss; simply adjusting cement to 10% met strength. At the Shenzhen Laohukeng project, years of brickmaking used incinerated and washed residue from municipal waste; as environmental requirements and sludge disposal costs rose, the company tried adding waste mud to bricks—raising cement from 8% to 9% achieved the same strength, while density increased significantly and water absorption met top-tier US standards. At the Huizhou Hongli project, stone sand was screened out from stone powder and the remaining stone silt used for bricks...

Results from many users show that product density is a key backbone of strength. Fully fluidized concrete with thorough cement penetration into every corner—especially surface bleeding—provides internal density support and external paste bonding, meeting all quality and performance requirements. Breakthrough equipment technology makes the impossible possible. In slag brickmaking, Honcha leads the way!
